Now this, this was a masterfully written near death experience fic. I’ve read so many and yet a lot of them don’t go hard enough with the injuries to make the near death part seem believable, and the reactions from other people around the injured character can be kinda tame for people watching their friend or lover slowly die. You wrote both these things so well, and omfg, the way you wrote Alhaitham in this? His dialogue was heartbreaking. I loved it.
