    I feel like you captured Siffrins internal dialogue so well. Their anxiety, their fear, their lack of self-esteem, their guilt and the way they always point everything bad to being their fault.

    And the way you did the letter is so smart!! Siffrin being unable to comprehend everything, only registering the words on the page is such a smart way to handle him being able to understand the language with the island being forgotten.

    You absolutely made my day saying I inspired you to write something. Especially a work this good!!! I'm really glad you like my little writings and this was an absolute joy to read!

      I am really not joking when I say this is the first piece of fanfiction I have ever written, so just, thank you so much for sharing your wonderful work with all of us!! Not only is it brilliant and heartwarming to read, but you also somehow managed to ignite something in me I never thought I would be capable of!! So just!!! thank you so much for inspiring me!!! and for this extremely kind comment!!!!

        Sorry this took so long to reply to! Honestly, I could say the same. I never thought I'd be able to write something that inspires someone, let alone inspire such a great piece! No need to thank me either. Writing has always been very special to me, and I'm just happy that other people think that what I do is worth something. When I saw that you made this, I couldn't help but read and comment.
