MAN OH MAN. Elliot's emotions are pulling at my heart from over here. Jason realizing how he needs to step up in tiny ways, the joking, the flour fight, it's all fantastic. (Also, use that tea kettle, Jason) This chapter is quiet, but that's the point. It's the lull and calm before the storm. What we know is ABSOLUTELY not good, and I can't wait to see it play out. And I hope Elliot will be okay at the end. (Though I have a STRONG feeling he's going to be rescued by the Red Hood who then takes off his helmet)
Ahh thank you so much!! I'm really glad Elliot's emotions came through, he’s got a lot going on under the surface, poor kid. And yes, Jason’s learning how to show up in those small but important ways, even if it means enduring a flour fight or actually using that wretched tea kettle.
I’m definitely feeling the storm brewing too, it may take a little longer for all the pieces to come together but it's coming. 👀
