Oh man this made me giggle and grin like an idiot every time I read/re-read this comment, thank you so much :D Honestly I feel like the main goal of sticking Sauron in a time loop is giving him the opportunity to realize "THIS WAS A TERRIBLE IDEA"...... and then you know actually change his behavior over a few dozen repeated millenia or whatever :')
