   The high contrast between jaded, disenchanted Ginny in the first half which is already at quite the juxtaposition with her dreamy memories of her graduation day -- she really seems to be floating through it all -- and innocent, expectant Ginny ready to take on the new adventure of Hogwarts....gosh, what a mindfuck

   I adooored how Harry held her hand invisibly over the threstal (romance! invisible comfort over the visible symbol of death that cannot be made public) and excitable, gay little Colin is heartbreaking (I say gay as in "delighted", but he could be queer too, I see it)
