Uuurgh this just keeps getting better and better! I'm intrigued by Mito's family - if we're supposed to know them, I can't work out who they are. The number first made me think of the jinchuuriki, but the insistent "sister" terminology makes me think no. Is the youngest Kushina? I'm so bad at guessing.

Also lol'ing forever at "I can't ....take my face off" and the "that makes so much more sense" / "yes, you idiot" interaction. That's some excellent humour right there.
Thanks! I'm afraid Mito's family isn't... particularly obvious yet, but since I plan for one of the warring sisters to show up in this fic eventually, it'll be made clear immediately then. Kushina isn't one of them, unfortunately, she hasn't been born yet as far as this 'verse is concerned (she is a spirit and a relation of Mito's, though). The youngest sister is an OC, but the other seven exist in the Naruto universe in another form.
Mito was thinking about it, and Hashirama wouldn't have been entirely adverse if she had. At this point, it was mostly curiosity, though.
I deeply enjoyed writing the "I can't take my face off" scene. Classic Hashirama.
