It also feels very in character for both of them. I like how you stay true to their fatal flaws — it makes the whole situation much more plausible rather than “oh suddenly these people are very evil.” Ngl I wouldn’t mind more romance between them (personal preference)!! Also love the way Nico is characterized.

I'm glad you pointed out that bit about them not suddenly going very evil. That's one of, if not my biggest, pet peeves with the dark Percy and Annabeth fics I'm unable to enjoy: where they're off the deep end from the start (as in, off the deep, deep end), and there's this huge tonal whiplash going from PJO canon to insane-o fic without any buffer between them to set up the insane-o. Those fics also tend to have characterization issues for that same reason; Percy and Annabeth aren't the kind of people to immediately go full evil-mode toward literally everyone else, and escpecially not with their closest friends. Going dark? Absolutely. But going full-evil and sadistic and all that? No thanks, those are practically different characters.
Again, very glad to hear that my characterization stayed true enough to both of them!
