Oh. This story has so much in it. So much beauty, and warmth, and depth. At Aziraphale's proposal I had to blink away emotional tears, but the bit that really got me was this:
"When your time is limited, you give what you can," Crowley said, turning his head to kiss the corner of Aziraphale's mouth. "Haven't we always done that, angel?"
And I really want to mention how much I enjoyed the appearances of some of the other characters: in just a couple of sentences you paint a perfectly credible picture of a teen Adam, Gabriel is comically spot on, and in my mind I named Anathema's daughter Agnes!
I was so happy to include the human characters in this! I kind of missed them in S2! I think they should all be friends. I'm writing another fic where Anathema runs a supernatural experiences support group and she is definitely going to invite Nina and Maggie lol.
As for the Second Coming Prevention Club, that's why you don't let Aziraphale name things lol.
