    I love the part where Celebrimbor blows his forge lol. It's almost cute.

    I don't know what to say that hasn't been said by other reviewers. Your characterization of Sauron is great. It's not like he doesn't have feelings, but they seem subordinate to so many things (his ambition mainly). And it is almost sad that the few times when he actually make the right call, his past life/the world just hits back. I LOVE the Numenorean assault on Middle Earth!

      Ahh, I feel like that was also what Sauron was thinking :') "Aww, he killed me. Look how far he's come!"

      I really like exploring how Sauron CAN be emotionally complex, but his more nuanced experiences are overshadowed by ambition and pride.

      The idea of Numenor assaulting ME in lieu of Sauron attacking Eregion is actually from simaetha's time-loop fic (where it's Celebrimbor who gets the groundhog day treatment), and I also loved it so much I had to borrow it :)
