  1. Awesome start to the story!! Love the premise and very eager to see some Jon and Rhaegar bonding. Hopefully they learn of each other’s past identities sooner rather than later.

The naming, placement, and adjustments were all excellent in this chapter. I can’t wait for more! Thanks for writing :)

    1. Glad you're enjoying the start! Without spoiling too much, I'll just say that the chapter after Jon learns Rhaegar's identity is probably one of my favorites. (It's hard to beat the Daemon chapters, because he's an absolute blast to write.)

Because this was so short, I'll probably throw chapter two up on Monday.

Thanks for breaking the comment ice! ❤️ It was perfect timing to alleviate the post-posting anxiety.

      1. Ahhh I can’t wait!! The way you’ve described your characterization for Daemon seems totally up my alley.

After I commented, I realized that Rhaegar being younger than Jon might mean his last memories were before he met Lyanna… ahhh!

Wonder if Jon having the same appearance/coloring as his past life (if he does) yet still being Daemon’s son might clue him in on his original parents (if he never found out).

Edit: Ignore that, Jon definitely knows can’t believe I missed him reminiscing on Aegon.

Happy my comment helped! I happened to see your story right away and was very eager to be the first kudos/comment/bookmark of what seems like an excellent new fic!

        1. (Somewhere in the world right now, Daemon has absolutely no idea the storm that's coming for him.)

Chapter two should clear a little bit up about where Jon and Rhaegar are in their respective timelines, but yes, as you noticed, Jon has learned about his parentage here. Being able to ride one of Daenerys's dragons was definitely the Clue that sent him down that journey of discovery.
