Great stuff! I absolutely love that bb lwj took one look at the yiling patriarch and decided to marry him. And the fact that no one knew who he really was is so funny. And just skillfully written in general, I'm always impressed when someone can write something short that's so detailed and immersive that it feels like it lasts a thousand years. 10/10, really great job!

XD And it was always one of my favorite things in the story--seriously WHAT did the people in Yiling think of the local, vegetable-selling boogeyman? Like...did they know who he was and just not care? Did they think he was Just Some Guy? Either way, delightful, and I wanted to include some of that in this. WWX just doesn't seem demonic cultivator-coded. Because he's a clown. Love him.
