    I really enjoyed this fic and I kinda sorta wrote a spin-off ending for it. I was wondering if it would be alright if I posted it on Ao3, with full credit given to you and this work of course. Sorry for putting this request in a comment like this, wasn't sure how else I could contact you and this seemed like the best choice.
    Anyways your writing is really cool! I always love a good "book Hiccup gets a break from the horrors for once in his short life" story, especially when its combined with "movie Hiccup and the gang have no idea what to do with this traumatized child they found". Add in the fact that book Hiccup has little to no memories to work with and the whole thing becomes even more confusing and even more fun.
