Akari and Emmet get to be friends. He can help with pokedex info. Just infodump on any pokemon she needs data about. Probably has every pokemons stats memorized to help make choices in double battles.
And has Akari yet realized the wonders of modern plumbing? Because bathhouses and hot springs are nice and all, but sometimes you just want a shower. Show up every week to play mailman and steal the twins bathroom for a bit.
