I love your characterization for the MC! They're so grounded and raw, something I wish I saw more in complex characters. I love characters often misunderstood as rude and intolerant from the outside perspective but we as the reader/viewer get to see the humanity behind these characters and better sympathize with them, and even relate to them.
I feel like we focus on how everyone is such an empath because we're so apologetic and sensitive in this generation and use those traits to make quirky relatable characters to play it safe by making them likeable, so it's rare to find heavily flawed characters as the protags who still show to be a good person deep down.

Hello! Sorry i never responded, but thank you for such a kind comment! I agree; characters that are rude/intolerant from the outside with rich inner dialogue have always interested me. I feel like an empathetic reader that tends to fawn is common, so I wanted to go against the grain. Having a more flawed m/c with realistic, human reactions are often very good flavor for a story. I hope you continue to enjoy what I put out! :)
