    I read all the warnings in the tags and I still could not stop myself from reading it.. How Ozai ruined Mai's life and his childrens' life.. And the line in which Mai proclaimed that she indeed can love A son of Ozai.. My heart just broke.. I would like to imagine that after all of this, after healing, Mai could find her way back to Zuko.. Because they both need eachother. This was a story that took my breath away! You are very good at writing depressive stories haha. Thank you for writing it! I do hope Zuko and Mai once did make up after they both healed..

      I wanted to leave the ending open, because, I hope, it's clear that Zuko and Mai love each other so much, and neither one is ready to be in a relationship, but yes, I too want to imagine they find their way back to each other.
