God, I don’t even know what to say. I saw the email for this and clicked it for a casual read and boy. That is NOT what happened. I read the entire thing in one sitting, pulling me away from both the comedian I was listening to and the art project I was working on. This fic enraptured me so thoroughly that I looked away for one moment and my eyes blurred. I just can’t overstate it, this hit me more than anything I’ve read in a while. I don’t even know why. You are a very skilled storyteller.
