What do you know? You can teach an old dark lord new tricks. It might have taken millennia and he might have completely missed the point but we kinda got there! This was super great and I may have low, low standards but "Celebrimbor lives, far beyond your grasp. You have learned to take that as a victory," is as close to a happy ending as that poor boy is ever going to get and I'm so glad. Sauron's complete failure to understand ~love~ and attraction was great, and I am always here for his sheer entitlement. "leaving you to do all the work," was outstanding.
Lol! Sauron may be the lord of wolves but when it comes to teaching him anything, he might as well be a cat. Honestly my standards for happy endings in this ship are ROCK BOTTOM so writing this I was like "oh man is this too fluffy of an ending?? shouldn't someone get maimed again or something??" I'm glad it seems to have worked out after all <3
