    oh god, why did Ras want baby Tim's spleen? Has he just been going around spleenless without knowing? that's super dangerous! he needs to be on meds and be careful about stuff! he's immunocompromised and he doesn't even know it!

      Poor Timmy is missing multiple organs thanks to his greedy parents. He’s on meds and he tries to be careful, but it’s definitely a problem and it’s also the perfect recipe for a sickfic :)

        Quick question, how many organs can a person even lose before they die? Because multiple organs? Two is bad enough? What other organs is he missing? I need the Batfam to know this. I’m feeling queasy reading this, I can’t even imagine their reaction to it.

          He’s missing a kidney and his spleen. He has complications from missing both organs, but if he takes his medication it’s not too bad.

          The Batfam aren’t going to be happy about the Drakes selling Timmy’s organs. It really is a horribly messed up thing to do.

          It depends on the organs! The spleen isn't a majorly important one though it does play a role in immune responses, so it isn't as big a deal as losing a kidney. And if they sold a lobe of his liver, it can grow back (at least once. I don't think it works more than that 😅). But after that you definitely start getting into "how is this person not permanently hospitalized" territory
