i'll never underestimate your angst-writing capabilities again 🙇♀️🙇♀️ i have been humbled by this chapter hahaha. while i knew the tags going into this fic, i guess i didn't realize how much matthew was going to suffer at your hands!!! you did a great job describing his pain, because i was right there suffering alongside him 😭 i think you really did gilbert justice. i like his exuberant upbeat personality, and i liked even more how it shifted to vehement anger when he found out what matthew did. speaking of which, i can't tell you how over the moon i was when antonio and lovino made an appearance omg. they were like beacons of light hahaha. you always write lovino well, i kind of like seeing him in a medical role! and of course, the part that actually made me laugh out loud is when you mentioned francis's army of croissants xD thank you for including some gags after matthew's ordeal, i really needed it!! where on earth is matthew going to go from here?? i'm so curious to find out... it can't possibly get any worse, can it 😅 update soon!! i need matthew to get better!

I didn't want him to seem like an enabler--to be fair he doesn't know mattie that well (any more), and he's kind of conflicted about the whole thing. So when his worst fears are confirmed he's just mad. Haha also I cant go a whole fic without toni and lovi!!! i need them!
...and i think i just really wanted croissants lmaooo. i have to live vicariously through francis. but we must get croissants together soon.
