Really amazing piece here. Integrating the other perspectives, though I'll admit that Clark's is probably my favorite. Clark has the insight into Bruce to understand that he's not truly a bad person here, not with all the context, but also, to understand he's absolutely in the wrong, and caused Steph harm.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again: I've read a lot of fanfic I love, but no piece has had such a profound impact on my life as "These Twists and Turns of Fate", except maybe the piece(s) that got me into fanfic (though I'm not sure what those even were, though I have a guess). It is the only fanfic I have saved so I can read it whenever the mood strikes me, and I read it at least once a year.
I was so glad to see Marcie here. She's such an instrumental character in Steph's story, despite the fact she shows up only a little, both in story terms and in terms of Steph's life (only a few days). I'm happy she seems to have gotten a happy ending too. Steph's journey was a rough one, but they both made it. That's a lot harder than many realize, even in supportive environments.

I'm so glad you enjoyed the Clark POV! I had a lot of fun with that one, it was one I immediately knew I wanted to do when I realized I could go back into the original fic and give some of the conversations and meetings new context.
