Oh dear. Sirius, fresh from the trauma of losing all his friends at once and turning fugitive, not to mention being de-sized and thrown eleven years off, projecting all that attachment and devotion and desperation onto a single person i.e. Harry and making his protection his life's purpose...I'm sure this is not going to go seriously wrong at all! But also, that last scene was so...funny and sad, both at once? While I sympathize with Sirius that now he's nobody to a half-grown kid who was supposed to be his responsibility, there's just something incredibly comedic about Sirius, the Godfather, acting exactly like Colin Creevey, the Fanboy, jumping from behind a row of people to see the Great Celebrity Harry Potter, but for totally different reasons. Not that anyone would be able to tell.
Meanwhile, I'm sure Regulus is not going to have any qualms at all about being Sorted into Gryffindor only to be ignored by his brother in favor of Potter's kid yet again...Sad boi hours for both Black brothers!
The Phantom Time Catastrophe of 911, an interesting choice of year? For sure would love to know more about it, did somebody get deleted or a great number of people get deleted, go raving mad, get exchanged for their alternative selves, etc.? Also, looked up the year on Wikipedia, and King Louis the IV died that year after an 11-year reign. A great number of elevens in confluence here, I wonder why?
Sidney and Reginald hashing out their fake histories was hilarious as hell, and the whole bit about their name. With Reginald Archibald, Sirius really should've been Sidney Oethelwald or something. Ryan is just...terrible. It tickles me that Reginald means the same thing as Regulus. And the whole story of being thrown out by the nuns, Regulus having been a "delightful child", you have me in stitches here. Again, it's the hilarious mental image of the two of them sitting there fumbling out one excuse after another, while simultaneously both being in panic mode about their recent deaths and war traumas that is still very much there, the whole tragicomedy vibe of it! I'm so here for it. (Also: original-timeline Sirius dying the moment traveler-Sirius arrives adds a nice touch of fridge existential horror to the mix, too.)
McGonagall, so full of righteous suspicion at first, only to be swiftly won over by Sirius' unintentional and Regulus's very-much-intentional appeal to pity, also tickles me. Especially since Sirius was too caught up in his own mental problems to even notice.
When Sirius said "I'm here to fix things, let me fix things" I was like "uh yeah sorry buddy probably not on the books *looks at the tags*"
I wonder about their faces and wands though - presumably they both have their original wands, and I think in canon wands are unique and could be recognized by those close enough to know them? And do they still look exactly like their eleven-year-old selves, in which case wouldn't Snape/Dumbledore/McGonagall et al. be highly suspicious? Will read on to find out.

I'm delighted you enjoyed the tragicomedy vibe of Harry being Everything to Sirius...while Harry does not have a clue who Sirius really is. Fanfic offers a lot of opportunity for that kind of dramatic irony where as readers and writers we know a lot more about the characters than they know themselves, so I've been having loads of fun with it. I feel sorry for Sirius -- I was worried the slightly excessive crying was veering OOC, but honestly, he's in the body of an eleven-year-old, and fresh from an active war zone, so he's probably earned his tears!
The Phantom Time Catastrophe of 911 was actually in reference to the real Phantom Time Hypothesis, a conspiracy theory published in 1991 that had nearly three hundred years fabricated in the Middle Ages so that Otto III's reign as Roman Emperor was legitimised by placing him at the special holy year of AD1000. It's been pretty thoroughly debunked, but I thought it would be funny if I invented a Time Catastrophe that linked in, even sketchily, with a real life conspiracy theory!
