   I think Adrien is all about second chances, but the fact that he knows Nino contextualizes the acting out in a way Adrien can understand. If he didn't know Nino was Carapace, he'd probably have been harsher and he would have told Ladybug.

   He thinks he can handle Nino on his own though, but if Ladybug found out about this then she would try to get involved and Chat Noir couldn't object on the grounds of knowing Carapace, because Chat Noir shouldn't know Carapace at all.
