It is pretty sad, especially if you think about it from Adrien's perspective. He essentially got jumped by his best friend and decided not to tell anyone. Either they'll talk out their feelings or they'll get in another fight, the feelings will be communicated. At that point, names cease to matter.
An Adrien-reveal will be nice though. I think they might be setting up an Adrien Nino reveal, but I fear it may come at quite the price.
