    Very enjoyable read! Their personalities were all very distinct, and I enjoyed Blaze's streetwise confidence. I've not actually seen the movie this is reference to, but it didn't matter, everything was clear and made sense.

      Thank you for the positive feedback — happy you stopped by!

      I especially appreciate the praise on characterization, as Bolt is the only canon character in the story (as is sometimes the case with backstories). Everyone else is an OC. Blaze is encountered again in “The Cameo,” a later story where grownup Bolt meets his dad on a trip back to Los Angeles. I also strive to make my fics fandom blind friendly given how small and dead this fandom is nowadays (the film dates from 2008, and its fanfic and fanart heyday ran from that year until ca. 2013).
