Imagine if the Drake's really did have another kid. Tim would be so excited not to be alone anymore! He'd be the best big brother/surrogate parent ever....in his own special way. He'd be the 10 year old reading parenting books as he devoted all his lonely, protective, obsessive, perfectionist tendencies on this new kid. It would be very cute, but he'd probably never end up being part of the bat family.
Tim would have absolutely read parenting books and fussed so much over any little sibling. He probably would have ended up as a tiny surrogate parent. I think he'd only end up in the Bat family if his parents' last trip went wrong (like in the original comics) and he was worried someone would come after the baby sibling. He knows Batman can protect them, and maybe Bruce can help while Tim tries to figure out how to get someone to adopt them both. Tim might not be a vigilante in that world but Bruce could adopt two babies and then they could all gently persuade Tim that he still gets to be a kid
