Nino, boy you messed up. I mean it is in character as for all the boy is loyal, he is a bit impulsive. He is just lucky that the cat is his best friend who knows Nino is a bit frustrated with Chat (and of course poor Adrien is going to be nice about it regardless of his own feelings)
I love the fight. Personally I always thought that Chat was the more physically stronger of the two, as ladybug was the more mentally stronger. I am not saying that the other is weak or stupid (despite what Thomas Austrc is trying to do with Chat in s4) but they are more specialised to certain skills (as part of the equil but opposite balance they are supposed to be)
For example, Ladybug's Yoyo is a ranged weapon, one that if used to tangle an enemy cant really be used again. Its enough for self defence and she can throw down but she isn't really set for aggressive combat as much. And her lucky charm power, despite also relaying on unrealistic amount of luck and really random things happening in a certain way, needs mental gymnastics worthy of the greatest chess masters.
On the other hand Chat is built for combat. His power (so far but that could change Chat Blanc style) needs physical contact to work. He has claws and his costume looks more reinforced as armour. His baton has more offensive capabilites, being able to spilt, allowing more vertical and horizontal movement (Ladybugs yoyo needs something to latch onto. He just needs ground), allows him to glide, and is a hitting weapon. There's a reason he is always the distraction and protector, because he is built for it
Nino did something stupid, but luckily Adrien is very forgiving towards his friends, and Chat Noir is Adrien. I think Chat recognizes that Nino was just mad, though he doesn't quite know by what, and as long as Carapace isn't evil or betraying them he's lenient.
I agree with your thoughts of Chat being physically stronger. I think it's partly because his role is to shield Ladybug, but also because Adrien is athletic enough that it would affect his powers. He could probably outpunch his partner, but Ladybug could probably out plan him. Also, Ladybug has been shown to be more of a grappler in close combat. She got Chat Blanc into a hold pretty quickly in their fight. If she'd been right about the Akuma, it would have been over fast.
They fight in two distinct ways, but they are equals overall. Ladybug is probably faster with her yoyo, but in a ground race, I think Chat would win.
