    Omg I love this! I can’t believe someone wrote about the Jewish community in Ethiopia! So the name in Amharic (main language)for Ethiopian’s who practice Judaism is Falasha.

      I forgot to add, that term was used mostly until the late 80s/ early 90s and beta Israel is the preferred term now.

      Oh gosh, I barely scratched the surface when it comes to Beta Israel, I will freely admit that there's a lot I don't know! I mostly just did my best to avoid ashkenormativity in the fic.
