no because my eighth-grade english teacher pulled the same sort of crap. MONTHS after his confirmation that he would write my recommendation letter, he still hadn't submitted it and when i went up to talk to him he said he'd finished all recommendation letters already. i showed him the email receipts and he deadass looked me in the eye and said "you should know better than to forge emails. i think i would know if a student asked for a letter" then walked away (i later got a previous english teacher to fill it out and got into the school i wanted to go to!).
this was a great story! the dadmight parts were amazing and the bonuses were great too! i loved your characterization of everyone <3
Oh jesus your teacher sucks. That sounds awful ngl. I'm glad you got into the school you wanted to though! It's good to hear that it worked out! I haven't had a teacher ghost me like that, but I have had teachers just forget to turn in paperwork or give me a rec. I spent half a year trying to get my chem teacher to sign my community service hours. Ma'am I love you but you owe me 100 hours for being a TA I would, in fact, like to graduate and I need these hours to do so. I'm glad the dad might came off well!! I'm also happy to see all the love for the bonuses!
