J love this fic so fucking much holy cow. I really hated that Spider-Man was introduced into the MCU through Civil War, especially the way he was introduced. That was just. Not it. And personally i thought it was incredibly random?? Tony could—and in my opinion should have recruited someone like Daredevil (even though he’d probably say fuck off to him lmao—)
It’s so nice to see people actually criticizing Tony rather than just completely ignoring it like many people seem to do, and I know it’s just fiction but still. I definitely wouldn’t want to go to a foreign country to fight super soldiers—.

Omg, yeah, it was not good. And they erased so much of the things Peter represented too!! And like, there's just no way to excuse an adult recruiting a child, it's for sure random and just for plot or maybe even to gain more viewers since Iron Man was doing so well on the big screen? I'm not sure but it just Did Not Fit.
I would not either and they randomly made him so much of an Iron Man fanboy that he was willing to go against a National hero? It seems a little far-fetched (but maybe that's also me knowing that most Spider-Man comics have Peter hate Iron man so it's hard for me to see him liking Tony Stark that much.
