    I am convinced that in a world where both the Addams and Batman exist, Bruce must have met (and probably trained under) some of the Addams when he traveled the world and just hasn't made the connection.

      list of things Bruce knows about 'The Addams Family'
      -they're a tight knit group of elite assassins that work directly under Ra's Al Ghul
      -probably some sort of lineage.
      -practice mithirdism casually, do NOT accept food from them
      -masters of disguise; no definite appearances or attributes recorded, even after training with them.
      -surprisingly TERRIBLE actors. By all accounts, they're very earnest, somehow.
      -indecipherable moral compass, but they seem to have some sort of code that they abide by, seperate and sometimes even in opposition to Ra's.
      -Had a falling out with Ra's Al Ghul in recent years; exact date or cause unknown. They have not been seen since.
      -It is unclear whether they were all killed off by Ra's or if they somehow evaded him.
      -DEFINATELY magic users of some kind. Other magic users seem wary or fearful.
