    Wait I thought the Addams family were people? I like how shocked the family was, they don't realize that that's normal behavior for the Addams family. I like how Dick understood what Tim seemed to be going through and how he was there for his brother when Dick saw Tim was unconfutable. I want Tim to go see the Addams and Dick to join him.

      Okay okay it's complicated? Basically The Addams Family is a property generally used for comedy, so the EXACT mechanics of them change from title to title and are largely up for interpretation. For example, they pretty much *ARE* people in the original comic strip, but in the movies Wednesday and Pugsley spend their freetime basically killing each other, and it's played for laughs because it's a movie, but it makes it kinda hard to work with them in a more serious way. Esp when you take into account Thing, and Grandmama pretty unambiguously being a straight up witch that does magic, and Cousin It, and the lion skin rug that still tries to eat people- Basically, there's a LOT to suggest that they're something more then human, but you aren't supposed to think too much about it. Unfortunately my brain has Can't Shut The Fuck Up Disease so I developed lore anyway <3 I set up most of the rules for my interpretation in the first work, if you're interested lmao. hdiufshf sorry for ranting, refer to my previously mentioned affliction.

      Poor Batfam, they just want Tim to be safe! They're trying their best! Dick is the BEST big brother (most of the time) and I will die on that hill. Unfortunately, he's a bit too paranoid for Tim to take to meet his family unless absolutely neccassary. We should get there eventually tho <3 thanks for reading!

        Don't worry about the rant! I love the rant! The explanation makes a lot of sense to me, I was only confused because I believe it says the Addams family are people, but if they're more than people I can accept that. Looking forward to reading more of this!!!

          oh! yeah the idea as far as this series goes is that they're 'human' but like....in their own way? Like they can be any version of any human at any time. That's what I meant in the first work, sorry if it was confusing. but yeah it's basically just shapeshifting + healing factor, and also some of them (like grandmama) are actual witches and stuff. I'm glad you're liking it so far!!
