I like cuddles and fixing problems. Tim's parents are outright neglectful and sometimes that's described as better than abuse but it is not great. He still has problems that need to be fixed (with a superior adoptive family that will not ignore him) and Jason's problems are going to be easier to deal with in any world where Dick is the one that insisted on bringing him home. Canon-Dick was mad that Bruce gave Robin away to someone that he barely knew. This one loves his personally chosen little brother. It only makes sense that Jason would go to his big brother when he's fighting with Bruce, and then Jason's not alone when he tries to save somebody

    :)

    1. You're right.
Being neglected for a long time is very very bad and hurt, especially by his parents.
That's why Tim needs a lot of cuddles and a better family of course;)

It makes sense that Canon-Dick was angry at Bruce because he didn't tell and ''ask'' him about new Robin.
But it was wrong that he turned it on Jay.
And here you arrange the storyline that it's Dick to choose Jay to be his little brother and Robin so he wouldn't be like a bear with a sore head:)

      LOVE IT<3

The original story from envysparkler had Dick choosing Jason as his baby brother, I just added Tim as the new brother :) It only seemed right that in a family where Dick was the one demanding to bring Jason home that Dick would be there for his brother when needed, and by Happy DC World Logic, Ethiopia ends with a close call instead of a tragedy

Tim very much needs a better family, good thing he has two brothers and won't take long to convince Bruce that he can't really replace a dad who is barely every around

        1. Oh yes,I’m sorry for forgetting that when I replied you.
DC creates more and more tragedies just for the sales volume. It is reasonable because a lot of comic readers (Not Me) likes contradictions and conflicts.Even so,they’ve gone too far!
I love this warm batfam. They care for each other and hug each other.
Though I think it’s hard to see in DC comics:(

I am working on a longer story where there will be a warmer batfamily. I am finishing my in-progress story on AO3 before I start posting it but the response to this story has been so wonderful that I am very motivated to give the world more Batfamily-but-with-visibly-expressed-love. That is going to take a bit probably because I'll get most of it drafted before posted but the idea seems pretty solid and I have a lot of the basics drafted. Tim goes back in time to fix some things that went drastically wrong (and has no idea that he is not going to be the tolerated hanger-on in a happier timeline where some of the big tragedies don't happen, but he'll find that out later on)

Thank you!! That is really, really encouraging. So far I have a bunch of scenes in skeleton and half the plot but I am making sure that I line a few things up before I accidentally aim the story in a direction that doesn't give the ending I want
