I love/hate this particular trope, only because I love the fact that Dick is the one who inspired everyone else to tryout being a sidekick. I like the whole legacy thing and I feel sad when that’s absent from a story.
But this one in particular made up for that by being absolutely hilarious— I can’t stop picturing Barry’s confused face while scratching his head with the weather wand/stick thingy 💙😂
Also JASON OHMYGAWD 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Oh and one of my favorite things in the world is Superman and fam getting threatened by Batman and fam with kryptonite, so thank you for fitting that in as well lololololol

Dick being the OG sidekick is, like, everything to me. Which is probably why I've never toed my way into this sandbox previously. I mean, it's such a fun trope to write! But also *grabby hands* my son. My son being the bright little beacon, as Robin, and inspiring a whole slew of sidekicks.
My weird little compromise is, generally, that the other sidekicks know or know of Dick/Robin anyway. Which *blows raspberry* isn't in THIS fic, but yeah. If I don't think too hard, I don't get sad about sticking Robin in the shadows like that.
That one little exchange with Jason was probably my favourite thing to write, in this. XD
I'm just *rolls* so happy that you (and others!) have enjoyed this fic so much. I really love making people happy, moreso I love making people laugh, so I just.
