yeah! In my headcanon it's always Kuroko who is Kise's lodestone when it comes to basketball (in a way that's quite different from Kise's preoccupation because I guess Aomine is more idk, the perfect challenge). more so than the other Miragen I think Kise does look to Kuroko for... an example, I guess, about how to play basketball. How to live life. (aren't they the same thing in KnB hahaha)
Nevertheless, it's always heart-warming to see the group together, even when they are older and planning their futures (Or lazying around, like Aomine and Murasakibara). Midorima made me laugh out loud, and caught me off-guard in what you could interpret as a sweet scene with Kise (But oh god, he kept track of the time, MIDORIMA PLS).
XD I love writing Midorima so so much! (especially when he's busy annoying - and being annoyed by Kise).
I'm really glad you enjoyed this fic, it was one of the first fics I wrote in this fandom, and so it's a fic that's special to me in that sense, although soon afterwards Akashi ate up my brain and I haven't gone back to Kise so much since. XD
