Wow wow wow holy shit!!! I loved this so so so much it was so interesting to read your authors notes on the symbolism and references you put in this story. I thought the writing style was fantastic and this chapter in particular was my favorite!! [Throughout this spilling of information the expression of the Pink Queen had turned from concerned to a sentimental, sad smile. Like it was a secret between them she asked a question.
“Do you know my name?”
“I – the one I’ve been searching for. Madoka.”
“Ah – have you searched for me in your waking hours?”
Homura, still, had run out of tears long ago. She had no precedent for this emotion. Her heart had been left behind in another life. Her voice was barely a whisper.
“I had doubted that you ever existed at all.”] this was so beautifully written and it made me so sad at homuras confession in this last line. I genuinely had to fight back tears.. When Madoka kissed her I just ! OOF IT MADE ME VERY EMOTIONAL.. i thought it was beautiful how it was all a dream and not an au after all, it was a lovely surprise and it made me so happy that homura felt better when she woke up.. It was very beautiful, I go up tell how much thought went into this story and it really was so worth it :')
