    Literal tears in my eyes (literally, this is me right now: 😢) this was so beautiful and painful and oh,Roman...hon, no....

    But the end was so beautifully, softly cathartic, like I feel like my soul has come through fire - like an underground coal fire, slowly but surely burning, burning and burning and burning for ages on end - and then it came out the other end to a cool, healing rain.

     

    I'm so glad he finally talked about it honestly with the others. He needed to.

    And I love how as soon as Roman starts describing rehearsing "big discussions" Virgil absolutely called it, WELL, I CAN ALREADY SEE HOW THAT WOULD GO WRONG yup of course he'd recognize that, for all the reasons you laid out.

    Also, Soft and Gently Caring Janus and Logan rubbed aloe on my poor tender soul, but your Remus gives me absolute joy with bits like “Damn straight,” Remus agreed, sticking a lollipop up his nose. and "you unreliable-narrator-ed yourself". Just. XD very Remus, somehow.
