  1. I admit, it's a very easy detail to miss. Ganondorf does make a mention of the Great Sea being a fishless ocean, but in the same breath he's describing Zelda's dream, so it's not the most concrete evidence. However, if you speak to the Salvage Corp. enough the leader will eventually say, "Lemme ask you something real quick: who wanders around on a fishless sea? I'll tell you who, bub: Only pirates, monsters, and treasure-hunters like ourselves! And maybe some other things that I've never heard of..." So the Great Sea is indeed fishless.
As for the agriculture aspect...I have only speculation to offer. It's possible Greatfish Isle played that role since the island appears to be pretty fertile just from what I've observed in game. Despite being broken up it looks it was a good-sized island. There's a lot of grass and regular trees instead of palm trees. On top of that I've noticed broken fences as well. Maybe they were part of pens for livestock? (which would make the Lon Lon Milk option on the chalk board at Windfall's Cafe Bar make sense) It doesn't seem impossible that the destroyed island could have been a farm once upon a time. But again, there's no real way of confirming... Sorry if my theorizing bored you. ^^ Thanks for commenting. :)
