    1. I, for one, hope it's not. Definitely a lot of potential here, and comfortable, soft writing. Looking forward (fingers crossed) to more : )

    2. Also, I quickly beta-read/Brit-picked this for you. (I wasn't meaning to offend or anything, because your work's lovely, I just like doing it for fics I've enjoyed). I'm not sure if you wanted it done, but I loved this so much, and I had free time... So, just say if you want me to send you it.

      1. Thank you! I'm honestly not sure what beta-reading entails but I'd love to see it

        1. Sure thing. I'll just need somewhere to send it, like an email account you don't find too personal or something. You can send me an address in a PM if you like, and of course I assure you I won't share I that address with anyone else.

And beta reading is like having your book edited for flow and typos before publishing, but the term is most commonly applied in regards to fan works. So, I'm an editor for fics, lol.

So basically, I loved your work, then noticed a few typos, a couple of places where clarification might be helpful or a sentence could be restructured to make it flow more nicely, and thought... This is a gem, I have an urge to polish it, lol.

            1. Not a problem at all. I will send you it as soon as I get home, as I'm out right now comet-spotting! The Scottish skies are clear for once, and Neowise is at perigee, so I'm hoping to get some good photos.

If you don't find my style of betaing meshes with you, then I'll be happy to point you towards another who you might get along with better. I'm hopeful though, as honestly our writing styles are so similar, when I was reading back through my edit, I had to strain to tell which bits were me and which were you. That's always a good sign : )

Edit: Okay, I said the skies were clear, but not quite as clear as I'd like. There's a thin layer of cloud right where the comet is, spoiling my view. Sad times.

            2. Okay, it's really late, so I got lazy and just opened the file up to you on Drive... And then Drive promptly did something a bit weird with it, in automatically duplicating it to the defunct docs system for some reason, but it seems to be perfectly editable still, so I'm not gonna fret a little bit of Google doing strange things I didn't ask it to.

Hope that it did actually let you onto the doc, or at least notify you.
