    Oh man as soon as I saw this I bookmarked it. I love the amount of detail and worldbuilding you've put into this - I am quaking at the dedication. Kakashi and Sasuke feels are always amazing, and my goodness Hidan!!!! what!! Sasuke is picking off the Akatsuki and I really don't want itachi to die. I can't wait for what's next!

      Out of curiosity, did you bookmark it before you read it? As in- had you read Celestial Bodies and then noticed this story and went "ah yes, bookmark"?
      Thank you! I...love, worldbuilding. It's time to get creative and have fun with making up philosophy and heretics. Kakashi oh god, I rewrote that entire scene because I wanted to make Kakashi appear more of a threat. I wanted this story to stretch and linger and by god I WILL.
      I swear, I hadn't even realized that Sasuke was picking off the Akatsuki. I just paused and went, "huh" because I...guess he is??? Man, who IS left???

        Exactly right! I read Celestial Bodies and immediately knew I wanted to follow this story. I had some things to do before I got to reading it last night, but I was thinking about it the entire day. Totally worth it too - the Hidan and Sasuke scene was hilarious.

        I love the spiritual surrealism! And I find it so interesting that Older Sasuke/Amaterasu is so religious, even though he isn't a good himself. And Itachi hearing prophecy from Tsukuyomi??? Amazing if true, and Amazing if not true but Itachi still pulled it off.

        As soon as I read Sasuke wiping Hidan from existence with the Rinnegan, I thought "huh. I'm surprised Sasuke hasn't entered the Bingo book for killing Kisame, but NOW he's definitely the bane of the Akatsuki." Also, I can imagine other Akatsuki members being afraid to pair up with Itachi now (if h does survive and if he does stay in Akatsuki) because two of his partners have died under 'mysterious circumstances'. No one in Akatsuki seems to be safe from the Uchiha Brothers

        Really great job on this! I actually found Celestial Bodies because I was looking through RecklessWriter's bookmarks (and I also agree that they're amazing with Sasuke fics), and I'm so happy I read this!
