Poor Toshinori. His public, flashy All Might persona is so different from his true self and I love how you wrote his discomfort and self doubts. Looking forward to reading what happens next!
thank you! I can't wait to hear what you think about the next chapter! And I think in the manga and the anime you can very obviously see how shy and uncomfortable he is. From his body language to how he's never smiling. Not to mention the trials and tribulations that he had to deal with during his hero career! From Sir Night Eye seeing his future and knowing how bad off he is (which he seems to know yet not care for, wanting to go out and keep working), to his usual demeanor, never getting a rest (emotionally and physically), blaming himself for NaNa's death and the general trauma from working as a hero. All Might never gets a rest and he never gives himself one (i.e the morning of the USJ). He is always smiling when he's big buff All Might but honestly, it's hard to do that. It's hard to be as positive as you can be and carry so much with you. While I am a nerd for hero stories and stories where you fight for justice, writers tend to forget the slower and sadder parts, more focused on the fast-paced action and in the moment. You will always second guess yourself or think you could have done something different. There is never a time where it's just that moment. Sorry for the long response! I just really like going into the emotions that aren't really mentioned because they should be mentioned. Yes, they are sad and yes, they are difficult but that doesn't take anything away from it. They are just as valid and important. And I just really like projecting lol
