Oh my goodness. I can't really express how this made me feel, I'm having a moment. I love it, I love the way you've characterized them, I love how they have to stay on the mountain together, I love how Spock wanted McCoy to stay laying with his head in his lap, I love that McCoy seems pretty in touch with himself as a person. I love it. The resolution is very fulfilling. McCoy carried Spock's soul and the movies hardly touched the emotional aspects of the aftermath. I'm so thrilled that beautiful fanfic like this exists to fill the gaps. Thank you very much, this made my evening.
Thank you so much! I'm so glad that you liked it. I really wanted McCoy especially to come off as having matured emotionally and ready to let it out, if only a little at a time. You know, he's been through a lot and faced death in several different ways, his own and others. Anyway, I really appreciate the kind comment, thank you!
