    the notes at the end of the chapter are hilarious. Wish there were more. Like Hosea cornering Charles saying "what are your intentions with my son????"

      Ahaha, I love the idea of Dutch and Hosea being overprotective dads - there's another Charthur fic that I'm working on which is a lot more serious than this one, but still has Hosea going: Oh and by the way, just so we're clear; if you break my boy's heart, I'll break you :) And Charles is just like uhh... (because he absolutely believes him!)

        Oh my gosh yes! Overprotective dads that still treat Arthur like he's an innocent child. XD

        Arthurs: "You guys know I'm the gang 'enforcer,' right?"

        Dutch: "Whatever you say, son."

        Arthur: "Don't ignore what I'm saying. You guys put me in far more dangerous situations than Charles ever has!"

        Hosea: "Here, I got you a shiny new pen so you can draw more pretty pictures."

        Arthur: "I've KILLED PEOPLE, I'm not some goddam kid!"

        Hosea: "Do you want the pen or not?"

        Arthur: "... Yes please."
