I am of course sad that this wonderful work of art has finally ended, but what a story it was! I have had a wonderful time reading this every time, and will doubtless read it a dozen more times in my future. THANK YOU for writing this masterpiece and all the quality angst, character development, and pockets of comfortable companionship that came with it. I can hardly put my feelings for this fic into words, it's so good!!! Also, this last chapter really seems to bring everything full circle, with the Old Stag unwittingly crushing the few remains of Quirrel's negative self-worth beliefs to dust. And, in the previous chapter, I definitely breathed a sigh of relief when Quirrel and Lemm finally made up, and decided to (at least briefly) stay together.
