I loved the tense atmosphere of this fic, the way the bros move in unison to help the civilians, the idea that outposts and other settlements would have a blackout plan (incidentally, one of the things I love about your writing in general is how you think through the implications of the way the world is presented to us - the dying and reviving, the emergency protocols, the reality of living in a world where a blackout isn't an inconvenience but the onset of a horror movie). Noctis pushing himself too far to help others at his own expense is so very Noctis, too, and you always write Prompto as being the smart and levelheaded guy he is. <3

When I saw this prompt on the kinkmeme, I just KNEW I had to do it because asdfjkl; the idea of a blackout being dangerous, even deadly was amazing. I really do love playing with the implications of world building in stuff like this, and this was just too good an idea to pass up. I'm glad you've enjoyed that in my writing!
Reckless, heroic Noctis was fun to write, and I always do like showing Prompto being an asset to the team. He's not the most experienced, but he's smart and determined to get through whatever danger is headed their way.
