thank you! and yeah, the ladyblog's potential fate really stuck out to me as a catastrophe compared to the other ramifications of lila's lies. marinette strikes me as a very forgive and forget sort of person when it comes to friends, but the internet? the internet never forgets. and i really like alya, for all her faults, so i wanted to spare her the lost of reputation and even employers, later on, especially since in the canon of this fic there's nothing she could have done prior to keep from falling for lila's stories.
i'm still not sure how i would want to follow up on the scene as of now-- it came to me as a stand-alone, so that's how i categorized it here-- but i'm thinking on it. a night's sleep will probably give me something to work with, unlike alya herself, lmao
