    Tobirama certainly not the best with emotions (especially in this story), but he couldn't help himself :)

    So, Hashirama doesn't get a fur. It does have a significance in the Hatake family and all that jazz, and he's all but her son, but he's being raised as a Senju and pretty much just goes through that clan's rites of passage (if there is any). Tobirama mostly gets a fur as a symbolic gesture - and part of that is because Akamu still struggles to accept him, and is going out of her way to fight against the instinct to shun him.

    So yeah, sadness wrapped up in a happy moment. I'm bad for that ^^'
