    I think that they both do better when there is something to definitely say that this person belongs to me (JC) and I belong to/with this person (WWX). There is a tangible tie there the ceremony and the bell itself.

      Yessss, especially seeing the entire mess their relationship turned into in canon. These two really don't do well between the lines. Something clear and tangible will definitely help.
