    This is really, really, really good and knowing that I helped a bit in inspiring it makes me want to dance. I want to hug this fic.

    This is a very good Rodimus! I always describe him as a well-meaning disaster, and yeah, it applies. Because he does have good intentions, but he's a bit of a mess that keeps trying because he cares so much, and that shows here. You also got all his insecurities and flaws and what I'm trying to say is that this is a very believable human Rodimus, you translated him to this setting really well (and his backstory! Yeah. Good job). Same with Drift. I like that he supports Rodimus because he wants to, not because he feels he has to, how he is his own person.

    I liked how Rodimus tried to supportive and tried to be there even if he had no idea what to do. How he paid attention to Drift's mood and tried not to mess up with what he said, did his best to make sure he was a safe person for Drift, so Drift would feel supported and not judged.

    Congratulations on getting me mad at this Optimus, just as I'm mad with canon Optimus? I mean... yeah, you captured their relationship and it hurt.

    Rung was delightful. Just... here he is, having to deal both with Rodimus' bad spelling and crush, and managing to make everything better. What a legend, what an icon, what a sweetheart. I could also picture the look he was giving Rodimus very, very vividly and I started laughing. Rodimus, you precious, clueless dork.

    I'm living for all of Drift and Rodimus' conversations here. There's trust, and niceness, and degree of familiarity that makes them feel natural around each other.

      Yay I'm so glad you liked the characters! Translating the backstories was a lot of fun and the characterization kind of came together as I figured everything else out. "Well-meaning disaster" is a very good Rodimus description, I'm glad you thought I captured it!
