    Pros to Wade: He can compare a lot and help Pete with adjusting to trauma, and he’s a lot more outgoing than MJ. Both of those things would be good for character development, and may help bring Pete out of his shell. Peter and Wade would bring out different pieces and characteristics in each other that they wouldn’t typically express or see in themselves. (Bonus: drama with the avengers all trying to get a read on Wade and needing to know more about him)

    Pros to MJ: She has a background with Peter in this universe, and she would be a quiet calming ground for Peter. She is a great listener and observer, so she would be keen on everything that occurs. Plus, the avengers already love and know her, so Pete would get support from his family on that front. Plus, Peter would be left to show his characteristics that contrast more with MJ’s nature. (Not to mention, respect for a strong female individual.)
