These precious darliiiiiiings. I love their partner marriage so much, and I love your delve into their insecurities and fears here, and how they're still learning one another, only a third of the way into their killjoys partnership when we meet them. The care about one another so very much, and the trust and communication and affection they have for one another just kills my poor heart. Lucy, of course, is a joy however briefly she appears! You know my Many Feelings on s4, and this just threw me right back into sheer delight for their friendship and partnership and how much they love one another.
I love so many things about this show, but most of all I just love how much these two love each other, because it is SO MUCH. I still can't believe that s4 premiere, so I had to extrapolate it out a little, with them a little more secure in their partnership, and committed, but not quite sure enough to actually talk about things in case it ruins a good thing, at least on John's part. They're just so good!
